Cherry, this Woodworker’s favorite wood...Love it!!! A perfect wood for cutting boards, close tight grain wood. Overtime, as most know, cherry continues to darken and transform into a deeper reddish patina color, usually becoming a household favorite of cutting boards in the kitchen. This style cutting board sports a profile of slightly "curved" ends and sides. It is sanded and finished to a smooth touch as well as having completely rounded over edges.
PLEASE READ BEFORE ORDERING: You are purchasing a cherry cutting board that will have "similarities" to the board in the photos. It will be all reddish color (heartwood). However, each will be one-of-a-kind. Also, note color & wood grain will differ from board to board. It will darken over time.

Finished with mineral oil. Buffed and waxed with beeswax/mineral oil at time of shipment.
All natural holes in the wood are filled.
Made from locally harvested trees in Kentucky.
